This role will be responsible for exposing, exploring, and exploiting huge datasets across multiple modalities and domains to find novel relationships and behaviors and using models to drive decisions across the enterprise. A variety of data mining and data analysis methods will be utilized, using a variety of tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations. Extensive knowledge of data curation and fusion including multiple storage modalities, data architecture, and fusion practices will be needed. Must have a proven ability to drive business results withtheir data-based insights. Must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, functional teams, and customers. The right candidate will have a passion for exposing complex solutions in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
5-7 years of experience in data mining and data exploitation and has:
Coding knowledge and experience in several languages (Java, C, C++)
Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques
Big Data Querying from multiple languages
Cloud and Web services experience
Experience creating and using advanced analytics techniques
Experience using 3rd party analytics tools
Experience with distributed computing tools
Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders
Bachelor Degree required
Master's Degree or PhD, preferred
Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
