At Stanley Consultants,we are inspiring powerful minds, creating bold solutions, and we wouldlike you to be part of this team!Stanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer withbackground in high voltage transmission system protection schemes and relayprogramming for utility or generation clients. Technical responsibilitieswill include the design of any / all of the following: high voltage oneline, communication network diagrams and three line diagrams; computermodeling/analysis of electrical systems; preparation of specifications forequipment and systems; report preparation; applying codes and standards,and performing and reviewing design computations.Position will be responsible for lead design efforts. Must be able todetermine client requirements and coordinate technical efforts withindiscipline areas as necessary, managing a design budget and schedule, andbe able to demonstrate proficiency in these areas.RequirementsBSEE from an accredited college or universityPE requiredProficiency in protective relay coordination and settings calculations for HVand EHV transmission systems. Must have experience with Schweitzer and GeneralElectric relay and communication equipment.Experience with common transmission line protection schemes, such asstep-distance,POTT, DCB, and DUTT.Experience with electrical system analysis software such as ASPEN, ETap,SKM,PSS/E and PSLFKnowledgeable of FERC and NERC requirements as they pertain to electricutility substation reliability requirements.Experience with SCADA, IP Networking, Remote Terminal Units (RTU),programming, and associated protocols.Must have experience with Schweitzer Engieering Laboratories RTAC andassociated devices.
