Allosource Health and Safety Lead in Centennial, Colorado

This position is both strategic and "hands on"; responsible forproviding safety leadership and regulatory guidance to executive managementand front-line manager's, aiding and enabling a safe and secure workenvironment. The position will directly report to and work closely with HR,but will report dotted-line and will have substantial interface withOperations in improving the safety program including training, changemanagement, root cause analysis, ergonomics, etc. to enhance a culturecommitted to health and safety.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of safety and health policies, practicesand procedures in compliance with governmental regulations includingFederal, State, and Local laws and regulations, including, but notlimited to O Identify, investigate, report and provide solutions relative to rootcauses for incidents Embraces process safety leadership by setting meaningful risk reductiontargets, communication, and obtaining buy-in at the operations managementlevel Develop materials necessary for a comprehensive employee and supervisorsafety training program, including training modules designed to meet orexceed the safety goals of the organization. Develop and implement solutions for emergency preparedness plans forcompany sites. Monitor and analyze safety trends and implement programs and solutionsdesigned to prevent accidents and ensure safeguards are in place to minimizeri Implement standards of performance, benchmarks and key performanceindicators that allow accurate measurement of performance and improvement. Partner with operations management and safety committee to providesolutions to safety issues through effective mentoring and coaching. Determine unsafe conditions through collaboration with departmentalmanagement and work to resolve. Lead Employee Safety Committee and complete regular building walk-throughs. Contribute to management of worker's compensation claims in the eventof a workplace accident. Ensure effective organization use of MSDS software and translation tohazard communication program. Act as a contact for state regulatory agencies regarding mattersinvolving safety and health. Available to work different shifts based on need for a 24 X 7 operation. Work with onsite safety evaluators to promote, apply, adhere to,and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with currentoperating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and companypolic Lead company Drug Free Workplace Program May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.Requirements: Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, 5+ years' related experience 2-4 years' experience proven experience driving a best in class healthand safety programs within a regulated industry Proven success in developing and implementing employee incentives forsafety improvement and behavior change Experience consulting and training with all levels inside and outsideorganization Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Experience: OSHA or Risk Management CertificationPay: $59,850/yr - $73,150/yr based on relevant years ofexperience. 10% target Bonus Program based on individual and company metrics.Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pmBenefits: Generous Time Off Policy, Paid Sick Leave, 9 paid Holidays,Retirement Plan, onsite Health Care clinic, Wellness Program, LifeInsurance, ADandD, Short and Long Term Disability, and more!Location: 6278 S.
