Basicengineering knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatmentprocesses, or water resources (storm water, flood water, surface waterhydraulics) is required. Education, training, and demonstratedfamiliarity with data analytics, machine learning, modeling (treatmentprocess, decision support, risk and resiliency, hydraulic, waterquality, process flow, etc.), and smart water systems/networks isparticularly desirable. Successful candidates who demonstrate a commitment tobeing team-oriented, hardworking, technically proficient, clientfocused, and doing great work will be rewarded with recognition,opportunities to engage and influence, and a pathway to leadership roles.Job Responsibilities include:Assist with engineering tasks such as collection and analysis of data.Prepare calculations and designs of treatment processes, piping, andpumping facilities.Check design computations and quantity estimates.Use computer models to simulate real world conditions. Conduct hydrologic andhydraulic modeling.Develop process calculations and hydraulic calculations for water, waster,and storm water treatment, distribution, and collection systems.Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation and other applicable engineeringdesign tools.Work in collaboration with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical,IandC, structural, and CAD) to support project managers in producingplans and specifications.Work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop asset managementplans, utility master plans, and financial rate studies.Support construction phase services which may include review of shopdrawings, submittals, participation in progress meetings, as well asconstruction observation and/or inspection.Assist with development of reports, specifications and plans for: watersupply, treatment, storage and distribution; wastewater conveyance,pumping and treatment; stormwater management; waterways management;flood risk reduction and watershed improvements.Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment purchasespecifications for client recommendations.Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.Occasional field work, such as site investigations and client meetings, aswell as travel will be required.Requirements:BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or ChemicalEngineering with an emphasis in either water/wastewater or water resourcesengineering.Must possess a state Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification(Fundamentals of Engineering examination); or able to obtain within 6months of hire.Ability to effectively communicate in both in-person and virtual formats.Ability to effectively coordinate engineering solutions in a multidiscipli
