Job SummaryThis role has daily supervisory responsibility for a team of MaterialsHandlers. The team responsibilities may include materials receipt,dispensing, kitting, shipping warehousing and distribution of supplies.This role is responsible for building weekly work schedule aligned withproduction demands, partnering with Materials Planning and QA to ensurematerials are received and release to meet production schedule. In this roleyou will manage and coach your team ensure they are trained per GMP and adhereto all safety requirements. The supervisor will be accountable to ensure theirteam conducts daily cycle counts and maintains warehouse organization. andmaterials used in the company's development, production and administrativesupport functions. This role may support day or swings shiftLeads a team of Material Handler to ensure inventory is managed per cGMPguidelines and KBI SOPs. Ensure storage areas in the warehouse are keptclean, this includes identifying areas where processes could be improved,and work practices amended. Actively support process improvements and Safetyimprovement efforts in warehouse operations. Trains, mentors and coach teamto execute operation in a compliant and safe manorWork with warehouse team and others in the preparation and movement ofmaterial from Warehouse to Manufacturing. Routine work with Manufacturing,QA and QC to resolve materials issues.Is the lead person for the cycle count program for the GMP Warehouse. Thisincludes supervising the process and supporting the root cause analysis ofdiscrepancies and help foster an open communication between the sub teamwithin Supply Chain as well as operations.Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics formaterial sampling, dispensing, picking and kitting. Manages specialdispense request to support PD, AFS, Validation and other non- GMP program.Provides coaching, mentoring and training for team members. Works withSupply Chain Manager to identify and implement process improvement.Experience:BS degree in Business or Supply Chain related discipline with 3 to 5 years'experience Supply Chain or Logistic experience.5 to 7 years' experience inSupply Chain or Logistic experience. 1 to 3-years leading process or projectteams. Proven ability to manage multiple complex task and build work schedulesfor team.
