KBI Biopharma Research Associate (Multiple Temporary Positions) in Boulder, Colorado

Job Summary:Responsible for executing laboratory studies and performing data analysis inbiopharmaceutical development.Major Responsibilities:Conducts laboratory experiments in support of biopharmaceutical processdevelopment including running electrophoresis gels, CE, HPLC s,peptide mapping fermentation,and preparing buffers.Understands experiments and conducts troubleshooting analysis and maintainsrecords.Maintains and updates knowledge of instrumentation and maintenance.Education/Experience:Bachelor's, Master's, Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry,Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or related field (or equivalenttraining). Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and equipmentmaintenance required. Experience in purification techniques inclusive ofchromatography, filtration, and UF/DF are preferred. Experience infermentation techniques inclusive of aseptic methods, bioreactoroperation, and cell separation preferred. The Research Associate is anhourly temporary position with the expectation of some shift work, dependingon laboratory activities and organizational need. Length of assignments ofapproximately 4-6 months with the possibility of converting to a regular KBIposition.
