SCOPE OF POSITION This is an entry level position requiring little to no experience. Theprimary function of this position is to assist R&D, and learn company PDstandards and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist Research and Development team new product development effortsincluding procuring ingredients, organizing and cleaning kitchen/lab workareas and planning for new recipe development sessions. * Assist team with heating validation studies and product cookinginstructions. * Assist team with sample procurement, shipping, and receiving. * Demonstrate precise, expedient, organized, and efficient work. * Support internal culinary and R&D activities including recipeprototyping, recipe optimization, planning and presentation of new productprototypes to multidisciplinary team. * Manage ingredient inventory and maintain supply par levels. * Maintain kitchen/lab equipment and regular preventative maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Proven ability to multitask in a high performance, crossfunctional, and team based company culture. * Proven ability to assist in development of culinary protocept andcommercial prototype recipes with an understanding of frozen, bakery,and/or plant-based food production capabilities. * Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new techniques andsoftware quickly. * Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. * Ability to organize, record, and maintain details. * Strong knowledge of food safety principles. Education * AS or BS in Culinary Arts and or Food Science or related field fromaccredited institution or equivalent background and experience.
