Principal Engineer/Pipeline IntegrityQuest Integrity, a global leader in inspection and engineering services isseeking a Principal Engineer/Pipeline Integrity whose role will be focusedon identifying and providing solutions for the technical challenges of thePipeline Industry. The Principal Engineer is part of the global PipelineBusiness Unit and coordinates with the team to identify opportunities forgrowth and ensure alignment and consistency in the deliverables to clients.Pipeline Integrity covers a broad range of engineering opportunities,including but not limited to, fitness-for-service assessments, integritymanagement plan development, threat mitigation planning, remaining lifeassessments, stress analysis, and code compliance.Position located in Boulder, Colorado of Stafford, Texas.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and create new opportunities for pipeline integrity advancedengineering by engaging and aligning with the global Pipeline Business Unitand regional sales team.Provide technical execution related to pipeline integrity projects,including fitness-for-service assessments, integrity management planning,threat identification, regulatory and code compliance, remaining lifeassessments, and stress analysis.Manage projects and deliverables while ensuring quality of deliverables,timeliness of deliverables, and adherence to the project budget.Provide oversight for projects and mentorship of junior engineers.Provide input to annual global pipeline budget.Work with management to ensure that the Pipeline Integrity team is adequatelyresourced worldwide and be responsible for the training of existing and newresources by providing forecasts for growth and identifying areas forexpansion.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Present advanced engineering capabilities at conferences, trade shows, andforums.Participate in the development of the team, including career progression,mentoring, and recruiting.Make safety a top priority at all times as it relates to you, allcolleagues, and our clients' personnel.Adhere fully to all company HSSE requirements and lead by example with respectto compliance with the TEAM 12 Life Changing Rules.KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:BS or MS in related engineering fieldTen plus years of pipeline industry experience and technical knowledge inpipeline integrity engineering.Five plus years of previous employment by a pipeline owner/operator a plus.Strong understanding of the consulting business and the ability to think andplan strategically.Demonstrated expertise in relevant pipeline codes and standards to include CFRParts 192 and 195 and ASME, API, and NACE standards relevant to pipelineintegrity.Experience in performing integrity assessments of pipeline threats includingcorrosion, outside force damage, longitudinal seam anomalies, andenvironmental cracking.Experience working with a team performing more advanced engineeringassessments such as fracture mechanics, computational mechanics, andfinite element analysis preferred.Proven ability to interact with and effectively manage input from multiplestakeholders to deliver business unit and enterprise goals.Must be self-driven, highly motivated, and diplomatic, and be able tomaintain confidentialityProfessional written and verbal communication skills, including the abilityto confidently deliver presentations to technical audiences.Travel estimated at 20% domestic and international.WORKING CONDITIONSBalance of normal office environment with visits to industry environments.Prepared to wear complete PPE as required by Quest Integrity HSE and clientrequirements as specified.Quest Integrity is an equal opportunity employer.
