We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Responsibilities: * Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence andprocesses in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. * Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of newproducts. * Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makesrecommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existingproduct lines. * Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination ofmanufacturing operations. * Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations ordata requires a review of a variety of factors. * Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices todetermine appropriate action. * Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Required skills and experience: * BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline and 3+years of experience; equivalent experience with no degree will be considered * Hands-on experience in process design and documentation * MRP systems experience along with ability to work and interpret data * Experience with welding process a plus MKS Instruments, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
