Director of Cloud Engineering (Enterprise, Mid-Market, and ISVs) Dedicated Regions -Solution Specialist Director
As the Director of Cloud Engineering for Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer you will help customers across enterprise, mid-market and the ISV space to define, deploy and migrate workloads to Oracle’ Cloud Infrastructure running in customers’ premises. Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer offers customers a fully-managed cloud region that brings all public cloud capabilities to the customer, on-premises.
Oracle brings its complete portfolio of public cloud services and Oracle Fusion SaaS applications into customer’s data center so that they can reduce data center costs, upgrade legacy applications using modern services, and meet their most demanding data residency and latency requirements. With Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer, Oracle is years ahead of other cloud vendors, being the only provider that can offer a completely integrated cloud experience on-premises. And we are already seeing some great early wins! Ask me who during the interview.
Along with customers excited about the product, Gartner’s Lydia Leong (Distinguished analyst) has the following to say about Oracle Dedicated Regions Cloud@Customer ”now it’s here, and given that it’s 2020… the sparkly pink unicorn comes from Oracle. Specifically, the world now has Oracle Dedicated Regions Cloud @ Customer. (Which I’m going to shorthand as OCI-DR, even though you can buy Oracle SaaS hosted on this infrastructure) OCI’s region model, unlike its competitors, has always been all-services-in-all-regions, so the OCI-DR model continues that consistency.”
