Beaver Creek is looking for anIntermediate Automation technician / Lift Electronics tech who has previous experience in a factory based setting.
The responsibilities of theIntermediate Automation technician / Lift Electronics Technician at Beaver Creek include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for creating and maintaining RF networking lift system for real time monitoring of chairlifts
Familiar with SCADA and Historian Programs
Responsible forprogramming and maintaining, upgrading HMI touch screens, plus installation of remote monitoring deviceson chairlifts
Responsible for training and guidance of Entry Technicians / Electricians
Responsible for Low voltage systems on lifts
Responsible for following Vail Resorts Safety and Risk management policies and procedures
Assures the lift Maintenance Manager is immediately informed and consulted on any abnormal or unusual conditions
Responsible for performing all routine and assignedmaintenance procedures under the guidance of Maintenance and Senior Electronic Technicians
Responsible for recording all information of work performed on lifts and submitting to dispatch in a timely manner
Fabrication and maintenance of electronic circuits as required
Responsible for upkeep of system blue prints and schematics
Assist in the ongoing training and support of apprentices, and seasonal lift operations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: High School, GED, Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent work experience - required
Must have at least 3 years previous electrical experience - required
Must have a valid drivers license - required
Must have good computer skills, includingMicrosoft Office & Outlook. RS logix ,Crimson software
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English - required
Knowledge of AC & DC Drives, AC & DC Motors, up to 1000 HP, Knowledge of PLC controlsystems (Allen Bradley, Pilz,etc) - preferred
Must be able to work at heights ofup to 100 Feet - required
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs
Must be able to use Hand and Power tools, trucks, Snowmobiles,Digital Meter, Oscilliscope etc. - required
Must be able to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required
The budgeted range starts at $20.00 - $26.20. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
