Nature of Work:
The Movement Disorders TeleNeurology UPL Program Coordinator will be responsible for overarching and day-to-day project management and operational support to program associated staff and faculty members, developing and executing program processes and managing and making decisions pertaining to the operations and program development. Primary duties will include identifying and creating processes for increased teleneurology efficacy; overseeing all aspects of the teleneurology clinical endeavors including logistical planning, procurement, and implementation; and working with UCH clinic and administrative personnel, Echo Colorado partners, and outside contracted services to promote optimal execution. Additionally, this role creates and executes processes to streamline and improve program functions.
This position will collaborate with study colleagues at all levels of the organization. Examples of Work Performed:
Design, manage, and evolve the Movement Disorders Teleneurology Program (i.e., identify scope, objectives, strategies, timeline, budget, resources, project team requirements, tasks, responsibilities, training, and complete SWOT analysis) in collaboration with the teleneurology program director.
Develop, implement, and evolve all operational and program improvement (QI/PI) aspects of the teleneurology program.
Work, communicate, and collaborate with various internal and external constituents (i.e., teleneurology program director, clinicians, medical staff, UCHealth employees, CU Medicine employees, Echo Colorado partners and outside contracted services.
Act as the point of contact for the teleneurology program. The program coordinator is responsible for building strong partnerships and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by presenting a positive image of the department and university.
Design, coordinate, and maintain teleneurology program marketing and communications initiatives (i.e., marketing/advertising, presentations, community and patient outreach) that supports both program growth and attracts new patients.
Create, present and manage teleneurology reports (e.g., presentations, spreadsheets, documents) as needed for teleneurology stakeholders.
Participate in on-going creative brainstorming, idea generation and trend gathering opportunities.
Delegate project related duties as necessary to teleneurology program staff and collaborate with other division and group members to accomplish program and project goals.
Collect and analyze program data against program goals, objectives, and specified outcome measures to determine future needs/direction and make recommendations.
Attend weekly Movement Disorders team meetings, presenting summary of research studies, clinical updates, and any other information to better improve the teleneurology program.
Meet with teleneurology program director regularly to present and review overall current clinical and/or study data, program challenges and develop/implement needed changes.
Work with the teleneurology program director to explore, identify and pursue grant mechanisms for future and continued funding of the teleneurology program.
Assist with construction and maintenance of teleneurology program database for research subject/patient tracking.

Required: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social and/or biological sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of project management experience in a clinical research and/or hospital setting.
Member of The Movement Disorder Society (MDS).
Experience working in Neuroscience.
A Master’s degree (or enrollment in a master’s degree program) in a biological science, public health, or health care administration is preferred.
Experience working with FileMaker Pro (or similar software), Microsoft Excel.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established at $ 48,137 to $ 50,000 .
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
