Schedule customer orders to the plants’ capacity to fulfill customer demands

  • Prepares schedule of plant production for finished goods based on customer ship date requirements. Alters schedules to accommodate special and expedited orders. Notifies leadership when cycle counts are required on purchased or related manufacturing components.

  • Confers with department manager / leader to determine plant capacity, manpower and department schedules. Confers with Sales Services department to answer inquiries concerning status of production and shipment of orders.

  • Expedites out-of-stock products or previously scheduled orders: confers with supervisors or managers to arrange earlier production dates and reschedule other orders, and follows up progress of orders in process.

  • Support monthly Supply Review for assigned product groups with required data as part of the S&OP process

  • Prepares and issues various reports to status of orders, delivery dates, production and shipping, and other reports as required.

  • Support new product development process through scheduling of required pilot runs through the release of required orders and the associated production line schedules.

  • Provide support for purchasing team as necessary.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, materials management, or related field preferred. 3-5 years experience in manufacturing and/or scheduling. APIC certification preferred.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Oracle.

  • Must have analytical abilities and excellent computer skills

  • Ability to manage multiple processes efficiently in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of customer focus.

  • Requires excellent problem solving, negotiating, and general “people skills” in dealing with external and internal contacts.

  • Requires attention to detail and proficiency with computer systems, including Oracle EBS, ASCP, and PS.
