Raytheon Technologies Operations Systems Controller Team Lead (Sr Field Engineer II) in Aurora, Colorado
Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Operations Systems Controller Team Lead (Sr. Field Engineer II) to join the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team located in Aurora, CO. The Space and C2 O&M team provides support for the Intelligence Community. We are seeking an operations systems controller to join our O&M team on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. The selected candidate will be the lead of a team of 3 and report to the O&M Operations Manager.
24/7 real-time monitoring of a complex hardware/software system including normal maintenance activities and problem response/resolution.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Assist the O&M organization in other engineering and operations tasks that commensurate with the grade level.
Successfully complete an operator certification class including classroom, simulator and OJT phases.
Must be able to sit a rotating 12-hour shift schedule with restricted breaks from the monitoring workspace.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate to government customers, staff engineers and external agencies when describing current operational conditions.
U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph are required.

Familiarity with the current O&M program, a similar program and/or an operational site environment

Comfortable working with Linux or other operating systems at the command interface level
Knowledge of networking protocols, NIS/NIS+, LDAP & NFS
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience or 14 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $76,100 to $140,800; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
