Provide strategic leadership and direction for their area of responsibility, ensuring safe and reliable system operation through use of efficient processes and best practices. Leading a team and providing support as needed.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Creates and maintains collaborative relationships both within the workgroup and with area customers.

  • Champion of an adaptive culture, that can quickly respond to ever changing circumstances.

  • Manages area spending to stay within approved budgets and assists in the preparation of annual budgets.

  • Consistently assess workforce and equipment for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Create and execute action plans accordingly.

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, regulations and requirements.

  • Evaluates the performance of each direct report and provides active feedback to maximize developmental progress.

  • Inspects area facilities on a routine basis to ensure proper maintenance and fitness for service.

  • Promotes and ensures full compliance with Company safety programs.

  • Ensures conformity with Company standards, procedures, practices, and policies.

  • Works with Scheduling, Pipeline Control, and other support groups to provide a superior level of service to each of our customers.

  • Supervises and monitors area staff to include work scheduling and documented development; and each employee is competent to perform assigned job duties.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of environmental regulations and Company policies concerning the handling and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

  • Recommends capital improvements and replacements, and asset retirements.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two years operating experience

  • Minimum 5 years pipeline experience (preferably liquid pipeline, which can include natural gas, propane, ethane, butane, or other refined products)

  • Knowledge of MS Word & Excel

  • Live or be willing to relocate to within 35 miles of reporting location

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred, not required

  • Desire prior measurement experience and knowledge

  • Experience managing projects

  • Ability to read and understand system maps, fluid flow, piping design, distributed control systems (DCS), SCADA design and process control basics
