The SBIRS team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Hardware Engineer 2 based out of Buckley AFB in Aurora, CO
What You'll get to Do:
Diagnosing and repairing various types of computer and communications equipment.
Interfacing with the customer concerning hardware problems on a regular basis.
Develops procedures, maintains failure data, drawings, and equipment historical records to military standards.
Ability to work a continuously rotating shift schedule, which includes weekends and holidays supporting 24/7 operations.
Travel between Aurora and Colorado Springs, CO will be required.
Applies extensive technical expertise to diagnose/troubleshoot/repair computer hardware components. Ability to prioritize
tasks and to work independently and with minimal guidance.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or closely related field with 2 years of experience; 4 years with Associate's; or 6 years with High School Diploma of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret security clearance and must be SCI eligible
UNIX OS knowledge, computer systems hardware repair and maintenance experience, networking and communication equipment hardware experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active TS/SCI access
COMSEC Equipment Maintenance, Transmission (Antenna) Hardware experience
