Oracle Experience Director in Aurora, Colorado
As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior level consulting position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with industry-wide impact. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to lead large teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Experience Consultants help our team/envision/the elevated customer experience, help/navigate/the client executive team on their journey, focus on/aligning/the project to the customer’s changing needs, expectations and perception of value and act as a client/escalation point./
Roles within the Experience Team include:
- Quality Assurance Director
o Help our project team set the example for exceptional customer experience across Oracle – and the entire implementation.
o Help the team navigate the client executive team on their journey.
o Focus on aligning the project to the customer’s changing needs, expectations, and perception of value.
o Reviews the solution design with the team to ensure the future state solution supports long-term business objectives.
o Listen and empathize with the client.
o Realizes the business value case used to justify the project, not just checking the configuration and testing boxes.
o Serves as an escalation point* *when project teams are not aligned to the customer.
o Provide a third party view of how to achieve success.
Drive a holistic view of risk.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
o Establishing the client engagement approach and cadence.
o Designing client quality process and develop action plan.
o Validating joint team cloud implementation readiness and alignment.
o Consulting with client on operating challenges.
- Transition client to Day 2 stage.
- Experience Architect
o Align Oracle and client teams around team culture, project roles, and journey.
Define how we guide the team and client through the “moments that matter” and align those to the elevated customer experience, client goals, and project milestones.
Coach Oracle Consulting delivery team on how to successfully navigate key client interactions throughout the engagement by focusing on the voice of the client.
Listen, empathize, and help re-think the transformation journey.
Establish a team culture that fosters the environment of One Team.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
o Designing the account plan and engagement playbook for each function area in alignment with client goals.
o Designing and running workshops including discovery, phased kick offs, and history mapping session.
o Coaching the team through the playback process to meet client goals.
o Reinvigorating the morale on the team and continuing to reinforce our guiding principles and client goals.
- Functional Experience Lead
Orchestrate conversations to maximize the client experience, minimize time to solution each module, and drive collaboration between Oracle and the client team.
Listening, empathizing, and re-thinking how to frame the next client meeting.
Owns getting to “the point” in a manner that is business friendly.
Provide a voice to the client and help reframe working sessions to show the value and implications of agreed decisions.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
o Designing project branding.
o Facilitating key project meetings.
o Driving selected playback sessions which have critical client engagement.
o Providing input to the test approach to ensure the solution meets client goals.
