The SSTS team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a STSS hardware lead based out of Aurora, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

The STSS hardware lead will be responsible for tracking and managing all program hardware across multiple locations in Colorado and California. The lead will maintain several contract deliverable documents, requiring the managing of thousands of program assets in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Candidate will manage all hardware related drawings and documents, guiding them through the update and approval process through the appropriate program configuration control board.

Candidate will lead, plan and execute hardware replacement and upgrade efforts with an emphasis on minimalizing operational outages. The hardware lead should have strong communication and organizational skills with experience leading teams of a dozen or more and interacting (presentations and Q and A) with program and customer management.

Candidate will support proposals in response to customer RFPs.

Candidate will manage, update and prepare for submittal the Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for three security profiles.

Candidate needs to work completely independently as program management is spread out across other locations. Able to determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results without direct formal review of superior and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.

Candidate will be the primary point of contact and advisor to management and customer on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative.

Candidate will also need to provide support to other programs on campus as needed.

Travel is required roughly 25% of the time.
