We are looking for a Director, User Experience (UX) Design & Strategy that is responsible for creating exceptional experiences for all users of Graebel's technology platform. This role will ensure customer satisfaction across all devices and applications. The UX Design Director will lead agency partners to build a forward--thinking strategy based on market research, user psychology and digital design best practices and innovations - all while transferring the Graebel brand's strengths and personality seamlessly throughout the product.
PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
UX Strategy- Develop a framework for Graebel's technology platforms that create great user experiences, streamline operations and ultimately drive growth for the company.- Enhance user experience by creating simple and intuitive user interfaces that enable integrations and personalization.- Create flexible and scalable designs that can grow and evolve with market changes and new technologies/applications.- Determine KPI strategy and user feedback plan.
Market Research- Research and integrate design trends, best practices and innovations for B2B and B2B2C users.- Create customer journey maps and personas, competitive analysis and future market analysis to guide decision-making.- Support management of client advisory members to help guide strategy and product roadmap.- Lead and conduct stakeholder listening tours and user testing.- Regularly consolidate research and analysis to present to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Design & Develop- Transform research and vision into tangible recommendations and deliverables.- Lead cross-functional design and development team/agencies to ensure projects are on time, within budget and receive proper approvals and buy-in.- Determine and prioritize user features and requirements.- Advise and collaborate with CIO and IT team/partners on recommended technologies/applications that help deliver UX strategy and vision.
Vendor Management- Develop and administer RFP/selection processes for any third-party agencies responsible for product design, research, etc.- Manage relationship with third-party relationships including contracts, scope, project planning and budgeting.
Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, professional journals and governmental regulations.
Ability to write complex reports, detailed business correspondence, policies and procedures.
Ability to give effective presentations to management and large groups.
Educations: Bachelor's Degree in related field: Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, UX Design, Engineering; MBA preferred but not required. Seven (7) years of relevant working experience acceptable in lieu of formal education.
Knowledge/Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
