The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team is a project managementand execution team that manages construction activity within the operationaldata center spaces. The CPI team is tasked withcritical infrastructure improvement projects to optimize utilization ofspace, power, and cooling within operation data centers around the globe.These activities are outside of the scope of standard construction deliveryand regular preventative maintenance tasks.We are currently seeking an energetic Data Center Project Manager to serve asa technical resource within Amazon data centers. You will be part of a highlycreative, efficient team tasked with tackling the most fascinating andchallenges in designing, building, and operating Amazon data facilities.The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for project oversight and reviewof all disciplines including electrical,mechanical, controls, and architectural. A fundamental understanding ofthese systems is required, as the individual will be expected to identifyareas for improvement as well as act on data provided from other team andorganizations. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, developand deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This rolerequires both independent contributionas well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
