OverviewWe are seeking a Data Analytics Modeler in Denver, CO to support our missioncritical customer.Responsibilities* Provide statistical data modeling, data science, and programmingalgorithms to build data visualization software packages and provide big dataanalytic capabilities to help improve customer experience.* Will use data mining for structured and unstructured information to join andexplore relationships in disparate data sets; applying advanced analyticscapabilities to derive insights from a combination of unstructured,semi-structured, and structured data; ability to develop and manipulate,and maintain databases.* Develops mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complexrequirements.* Uses software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operationaldata and tools for data visualization.* Performs statistical data modeling, data science, and programmingalgorithms with data visualization software packages, specificallyStatistical Analytics Software and big data analytic capabilities, includingCloudera/Hadoop.Qualifications REQUIRED:* Bachelor's Degree (or the equivalent work experience) with 3-5years' experience* Experience with software development, either an open-source enterprisesoftware development stack (Java/Linux/Ruby/Python) or a Windowsdevelopment stack (.NET, C#, C++).* Experience with data transport and transformation APIs and technologies suchas JSON, XML, XSLT, JDBC, SOAP and REST.* Experience with Cloud-based data analysis tools including Hadoop andMahout, Acumulo, Hive, Impala, Pig, and similar.* Experience with visual analytic tools like Microsoft Pivot, Palantir, orVisual Analytics.* Experience with open source textual processing such as Lucene, Sphinx,Nutch or Solr.* Experience with entity extraction and conceptual search technologies such asLSI, LDA, etc.* Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clustering.* Clearance required TS/SCI with Poly (current)About PeratonPeraton provides innovative, reliable solutions to the nation's mostsensitive and mission-critical programs and systems.
