Nature of Work
The University of Colorado Denver, Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking to employ a full time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). This position is responsible for data collection and entry for a study through the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Clinical Research Management
This person reports directly to Dr. Sarah Milgrom
Examples of Work Performed
Collaborate with a team of physicians, physicists, dosimetrists and epidemiologists from around the country to develop a comprehensive database of children treated with radiation therapy
Collect disease, treatment, and outcome data for children treated with radiation therapy at the University of Colorado
Collect radiation treatment files for children treated with radiation therapy at the University of Colorado
Enter data into a centralized database
Maintain compliance with all training requirements
Meet established deadlines for data submission
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established at $42,830 - $54,480.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, sciences, humanities, business, communications, liberal studies, or any related field
Substitution : Any equivalent combination of Education or Experience (e.g., Associate’s Degree plus 2 years of clinical and/or research experience) or 4 years’ relevant work experience
Required: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Clinical Research experience
Experience with Epic, RedCap, and/or MIM
Experience with electronic data capture systems
Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Good command of the English language and ability to communicate effectively
Familiarity with medical terminology
Able to interpret and master complex research protocol information
Adept at utilizing technology to effectively communicate and complete work (e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word); ability to learn new technology
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Set priorities, anticipate obstacles when planning ahead, manage time effectively to accomplish tasks
Excellent computer skills
